Back in Eugene after a short visit to the LA Area for the holidays. Photo of the California Screamin’ roller coaster in Disneyland/California Adventure featuring my dad, brother, uncle, and cousin on it.
when you're taking portraits, what are all the things you have/use? they're beautiful!! any tips for an amateur?
I usually just shoot natural light and ideally an hour-ish before sundown cause the light is gorgeous, so i’ll usually just have my camera/lenses. Just take as many pictures as possible, make it a daily practice. and bug your friends to practice on them :) I also look at other peoples work that I like for inspiration & new ideas.
I went to the Seattle Art Museum to check out the Picasso exhibit… Man, talk about amazing. If you haven’t gone yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. Best $15 i’ve ever spent. Definitely really inspiring for me and my photography. Anyone know where to find the portrait of him that is at the entrance of the exhibit? REALLY love that portrait.

Some pictures from thanksgivings break! Went back down to Eugene, OR and brought my good friend Laura down with me. Had a great relaxing weekend with family, friends & good food. My first year of not eating turkey on thanksgivings day; wasn’t bad. Vegetarian.
